Track: Course 1 – Clinical Certification Track

Prerequisite: None

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain how trauma impacts brain functions of memory, emotional regulation, behavior, and learning.
  • Recall the wide range of adverse experiences that can cause trauma reactions.
  • Explain how private logic impacts behavior.
  • Describe how the Circle of Courage® works and the impact a broken circle has on an individual.

Included with enrollment:

  • Guidebook
  • CEs
  • Lunch

*If you have taken Children of Trauma prior to January of 2019, this training will have significant overlap with the exception of an introduction to the Circle of Courage. This training also includes some content from Courageous Connections and Courageous Classrooms.
